Local Attractions

The Old Pumphouse sits on the edge of the yard at Westerhill and, whilst all the packing and supermarket fruit is dispatched from another farmyard, it is, none the less, a busy working farm. Though the setting is intrinsically rural the village of Coxheath is only half a mile distance, at the top of the steep hill, with many shops ideally suited to those on holiday. A bakery, a Café, 4 takeaways offering pizza, kebabs, Chinese, Indian and Fish and Chips, plus an Indian restaurant and in the locality there are also very good local pubs and inns that have excellent food.

There are great routes for walking and cycling, even riding, from the farm plus so many things to see and do to suit all tastes – see links. It is also possible to book appointments for pilates and other treatments at westerhillphysio.co.uk located next to the indoor pool.
The historic county town Maidstone is only 4 miles away with many attractions such as the Bishop’s Palace, river boat trips and cinema to name a few.
